Spark plugs ignite the mixture of petrol/autogas (LPG) and air produced by the carburettor or injection system. The resulting explosion pressure is the basis for starting the engine. Autogas (LPG) has an ignition temperature of ~500°C, petrol only ~350°C. Therefore a higher energy is needed for the ignition of the gas mixture than with a pure gasoline mixture. In order to avoid stressing the ignition coil of conventional spark plugs and to prevent premature ignition coil failure, the use of special “LPG spark plugs” is recommended.
For many campers, it is important that, in addition to an internal gas supply within the vehicle, it is also possible to use gas externally. Whether this is needed for the grill in summer or for the radiator in winter camping. We offer a practical hose system so that the existing gas system of the motorhome or caravan can also be used for consumables outside the leisure vehicle.
The gas (LPG) generators of the Italian accessory manufacturer Teleco Telair make campers and your motorhomes independent of stationary power supplies and, in contrast to photovoltaic modules, provide reliable energy in all weathers. The power generator achieves more than twice the charging capacity of conventional 100 W solar panels and is also suitable for charging LiFePo4 lithium batteries. The compact gas (LPG) generator, weighing only 19 kilograms, is mounted under the floor of the motorhome. The gas is fed in via the existing gas supply, regardless of whether it is a gas bottle from the DIY store, a CAMPKO gas tank bottle or vapour gas tanks. This saves you an additional tank compared to diesel or petrol generators. With the EcoEnergy gas generator you achieve a higher degree of self-sufficiency and range – forced breaks to recharge the battery are a thing of the past.
The FlashLube Valve Saver Fluid is a concentrated lead substitute additive for LPG and CNG vehicles to minimize valve abrasion. Since both gases are emitted from petrol stations without additives, in contrast to conventional fuels, the unadditive combustion of LPG/ CNG leads to higher wear on valves and valve seats. To minimize this effect, the use of Valve Saver products is recommended. These settle on the inlet and outlet valves and cover the valves like a protective film. The FlashLube additive is added to the autogas (LPG) or natural gas (CNG) vehicle by means of a dosing unit (Valve Saver Kit) in the ratio of 1 litre additive to 1,000 litres of fuel.
