Whether with a motorhome in Scandinavia or with a tent in Spain, all campers have the same problem sooner or later – the “German gas regulator” does not fit the gas bottles in the holiday destination. Since a “Jumbo Clip-On” valve is standard in many European countries, the domestic gas regulators do not fit. Furthermore, the outlet connections also differ. In many countries, gas hoses are attached with a clamp instead of screw connections.
Many campers know the problem of suddenly empty gas bottles. The replacement process is often tedious, time-consuming and makes the freedom gained during leisure time slip away again. To remedy this, more and more campers are installing a vapour gas tank in their motorhome. Unlike conventional gas bottles, which have to be replaced, vapour gas tanks are permanently installed under the vehicle and are filled with gas (LPG) independently at filling stations.
The Votronic charging converters ensure optimised and quick charging of the Motorhome supply battery by the dynamo during driving. In contrast to simple cutoff relays, the charging voltage will be raised to the value, which is required for full charging of the corresponding battery type and which is prescribed by the battery manufacturers. So, the full charging current is available, and the battery is charged with considerable current rates within short time.
