The hose rupture safety device is a safety device in liquid gas systems that protects against uncontrolled gas leakage.
As soon as the nominal flow rate is exceeded by 10%, the hose rupture protection is activated by a shut-off pin in the fitting stopping the gas supply so that no more gas can escape uncontrolled from the system.

Automatic
The automatic hose rupture protection opens automatically and also enables delayed opening for longer hoses.
Manual
The manual hose rupture protection must be reopened manually by pressing the switch after shutting off.
In addition to the separate hose rupture safety device, which is installed between the gas hose and the pressure reducer or between the gas cylinder and the hoses, there are also hose rupture safety devices installed in pressure reducers.
